Sunday Setbuilder (“the app”) is a planning tool for the people who plan a church's Sunday set list. This policy explains what the app stores and why.
The app has no advertising, no analytics or tracking SDKs, and does not sell or share your information with data brokers or advertisers.
You can use the app without signing in. Your song library, set lists, saved Sundays, rules, ideas and scores are then stored only on your device, in the app's own storage. iOS may include that storage in your device backups, which follow Apple's policies.
If you turn on Team Sync to plan with your team, we store:
Team chat: messages you post in a Sunday's chat (the text, an optional song it refers to, your display name and the time) are stored with your team and visible only to its members. You can delete your own messages; team administrators can delete any message. We also store which chats you have read, so the app can show unread counts.
Reporting and blocking: you can touch and hold a message to report it or block its author. A report stores the reason you chose, an optional note, a copy of the reported message, the author's display name, your account and the time. Reports are visible to you, your team's administrators and the app's developer, who is notified by email and reviews them to remove content or accounts that break the rules. Blocking stores who you blocked, linked to your account, and hides their messages for you in every team; you can unblock at any time. The blocked person is not told.
Push notifications (optional): if you allow notifications, the app stores your device's push token (a random address Apple and Expo use to deliver notifications to this app on your phone), the platform and app build, linked to your account. When a teammate posts in chat, our server sends the sender's name, the Sunday, and a short preview of the message to your device through Expo's push service and Apple Push Notification service. We keep a log of each notification sent (who it went to and whether delivery succeeded, not the message text or tokens). You can turn chat notifications off in Team → Chat Notifications or in iPhone Settings; signing out removes the phone's token. Push tokens are used only to deliver notifications, never for tracking or advertising.
Team data is visible only to members of that team; access is enforced on the server. Team Sync is hosted by Supabase (servers in the United States). If you ask for a sign-in code by email, the email is sent through our email provider.
Send to Planning Center is currently available only to churches we have set it up with. It uses a Planning Center connection that church's administrator set up with us. A phone is connected with a one-time pairing code from the church's administrator; we store the phone's label, when it was last used, and a hashed copy of a random device key. When you send a set, the app sends the song titles, arrangements and keys to that church's Planning Center plan, and we keep a log of the send (date, plan and songs). Planning Center's own privacy policy applies to data in Planning Center.
Song links and players open or embed content from services such as MultiTracks, YouTube and Spotify. Those services may collect data under their own privacy policies.
Supabase hosts Team Sync data. Report alerts are sent to the developer by email through our email provider. Push notifications are delivered through Expo (expo.dev) and Apple Push Notification service; they receive the push token and the notification's title and preview text only to deliver it.
Data on your device is removed when you delete the app. To delete your Team Sync account and the data tied to it, open the app and tap Rules → ••• → About & Support → Delete Account (or Team → Delete Account). The account is deleted right away, along with your chat messages, reports you filed, your block list, read markers, push tokens and notification settings, and any team where you are the only member. You can also email us at the address below and we will delete it within 30 days. Team content you created may stay with your team unless a team administrator removes it.
The app is meant for church staff and volunteers and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
If this policy changes, we will post the update at this address with a new date.
